✨ An Invitation
What would it feel like to offer yourself the same grace and tenderness you so freely give to others?
What parts of yourself are longing for a little more compassion, understanding, or forgiveness?
And what sweetness might become possible when we soften our self-judgment and remember that we are worthy of love, even as we continue learning and growing? 🍯
This month, you're warmly invited into a BIPOC Sacred Cacao Circle devoted to The Sweetness of Grace - an afternoon of self-compassion, self-forgiveness, creative reflection, and community care.
Together with ceremonial cacao, prayer, letter-writing, and communal witnessing, we'll make space to soften, listen inward, and extend tenderness to the parts of ourselves that need it most. ❤️🔥
🐝 This Month's Circle - 10 Ajmaq • The Sweetness of Grace • Self-Compassion • Forgiveness
Our November circle arrives on 10 Ajmak in the sacred Mayan Cholq'ij calendar. Ajmak carries the energy of forgiveness, redemption, and restoring balance. Associated with the honeybee and the sweetness of honey, this nawal invites us to reflect on the ways we relate to ourselves, one another, and our communities.
The number 10 reminds us of our two hands and ten fingers, connecting us with Heart of Sky and Heart of Earth. It also carries teachings of cooperation, community, and mutual support - extending our hands to help one another find our way back to balance.
Together, these energies invite us to explore forgiveness not as forgetting, excusing harm, or forcing reconciliation, but as an opportunity to offer ourselves compassion while honoring our growth and accountability.
Through a Letter of Grace, we'll write to a past or present version of ourselves who may have needed more tenderness, encouragement, or understanding. We'll then symbolically sweeten our letters with honey or creative expression, offering words of care to the parts of ourselves we're learning to hold more gently.
We'll also explore Words of Grace, a communal witnessing practice where we can choose affirming words we'd like to hear and, if we wish, receive them back from community.
May we remember that even through our mistakes, our grief, and our growing, we are still worthy of sweetness. 🍯❤️🔥
🍫 What Is This Circle?
Sacred Cacao Circles are devotional spaces for prayer, reflection, and reconnection. We gather with ceremonial cacao as an ancestral ally - tending grief and joy, listening inward, and remembering what is true.
Each circle is guided by Madaly Love and weaves cacao ritual with a unique monthly healing practice or collaboration, within a container shaped by consent, accessibility, trauma-informed care, and collective liberation.
Cacao is a sacred Mesoamerican plant medicine, prepared with prayer and offered as a bridge between body and spirit, ourselves and our ancestors, and who we've been and who we're becoming. 🌀

❤️🔥 Meet Madaly Love
Madaly Love (they/them) is a curanderx, ceremonial facilitator, certified recovery coach, and community healer devoted to ancestral remembrance, collective healing, and liberation-rooted care. Guided by the fierce love and soft strength passed down through their Chichimec, Nahua-Otomí, and Purépecha ancestors, Madaly creates compassionate spaces for people to reconnect with themselves, their inner wisdom, Spirit, and community.
Their healing practice weaves recovery and harm reduction, curanderismo, ceremonial cacao, Reiki and energy care, sound, mindfulness, somatic practices, and community ritual. Madaly is an ongoing student of curanderismo, Mayan cosmovision, and ancestral traditions connected to their own lineages, and continues to learn in relationship with elders, teachers, community, and la Madre Tierra.
Cacao has been a sacred ally in Madaly's own sobriety and spiritual path since 2017. As a student of Mayan elders from Guatemaya, Madaly approaches sharing cacao with reverence and humility - honoring the peoples, traditions, and living relationships through which this medicine has been carried. They have been sharing cacao circles at The Green Yogi since November 2023.
Across their work, Madaly centers consent, accessibility, curiosity, and each person's agency in their own healing. At the heart of their practice is a simple truth: We are our own best healer - and healing blossoms in community.

🌿 A Note About the Practice
This is an experiential community healing space, not therapy. Exploring self-compassion, forgiveness, and grace can sometimes bring forward tender memories, emotions, or experiences.
You are always invited to honor your own boundaries and capacity. Sharing is optional, practices are invitational, and you may pause, step away, or simply witness at any time.
We aren't gathering to force forgiveness, erase our experiences, or rush our healing.
We're making space to meet ourselves with greater tenderness, honor our growth, and remember that we are worthy of grace, compassion, and sweetness along the way. 🍯❤️🔥
